DESCRIPTION:MONDAY, August 18, Dieppe Raid Commemoration: Cameron Monument, Vimy Ridge Park at about 1845 hrs/ 6:45 pm because parking can be very tight at the park.\nAssociation members and any family or friends of the Regiment are requested to be at the Cameron Monument by about 1900 hrs/ 7 pm and seated or have their spot to stand picked out No Later Than 1915 hrs / 7:15 pm.\nThe Commemoration starts at 1930 hrs / 7:30 pm and is expected to run until about 2030 hrs/ 8:30 pm\nDress is per the CO, or Suggested Dress is Dress of the Day for ERE pers and other serving members.\nSuggested Dress is Regimental Blazer or dark suit and medals for Association (aka Regimental Mufti with medals), Advisory Board, and other former military and other guests.\nFailing that, your best “Winnipeg Tuxedo” with or without medals will do – just be there ! After all the Camerons who fought and won at Vimy, Amiens, Normandy, and elsewhere weren’t the wealthy, but they sure were rich in fighting spirit when it mattered most.\n
