The command team from the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada visited the 19 August 1942 Memorial Museum in Dieppe, France to officially dedicate a new display featuring the uniform worn by members of the unit 81 years ago during Operation JUBILEE, commonly known as the Dieppe Raid.

L'équipe de commandement des Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada a visité le musée commémoratif du 19 août 1942 à Dieppe, en France, pour dédier officiellement une nouvelle exposition représentant l'uniforme porté par les membres de l'unité il y a 81 ans lors de l'opération JUBILEE, communément connue sous le nom de raid de Dieppe.

On 14 September 2023, members of the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada participated in the Last Post ceremony at Menin Gate, which has been conducted by the residents of Ypres, Belgium every night at 8 pm since 1927 when the monument was built (currently under restoration). A wreath was laid by the command team and regimental advisory board, while a guard of Camerons looked on. Master Warrant Officer Dan Locke played the lament on the bagpipes and Lieutenant Colonel Jon Baker recited the exhortation (Binyon’s verse).

Le 14 septembre 2023, des membres des Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada ont participé à la cérémonie du dernier poste à la porte Menin, qui a été menée par les résidents d'Ypres, en Belgique, tous les soirs à 20 heures depuis 1927, date à laquelle le monument a été construit (actuellement en cours de restauration). The Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada
On September 14th 1923, Cpl Percy Bousfield was laid to rest in the Bedford House Cemetery, Ypres, Belgium, as an unknown Canadian soldier of the First World War after his temporary grave was destroyed during the war.

100 years later, a headstone rededication was held and attended by a contingent of Cameron’s and over 40 others, including members of Cpl Bousfield’s family, officials from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, an alderman from the City of Ypres, photographers, and other members of the public.


Le 14 septembre 1923, le Cpl Percy Bousfield repose au cimetière de Bedford House, à Ypres, en Belgique, en tant que soldat canadien inconnu de la Première Guerre mondiale, après que sa tombe temporaire ait été détruite pendant la guerre.

100 ans plus tard, une nouvelle consécration de la pierre tombale a eu lieu en présence d'un contingent de Cameron et de plus de 40 autres personnes, dont des membres de la famille du Cpl Bousfield, des responsables de la Commission des sépultures de guerre du Commonwealth, un échevin de la ville d'Ypres, des photographes et d'autres membres de le public.
