Laid up Colours: 1928 on West wall of Cameron Chapel. They are:TOP ROW L to R: 2 Flags total 1: Winnipeg Highland Cadet Corps Regimental Flag 2: Winnipeg Highland Cadet Corps King's Colour The Winnipeg Highland Cadets were succeeded by the 407 Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps, best known as The Cameron Cadets. These colours were deposited on 27 May, 1928.BOTTOM ROW L-R: 5 Colours total. More details may be provided by the Cameron Museum 1: King’s Colour 43rd Battalion CEF w/ metal plaque on staff 2: Regimental Colour 43rd Battalion CEF of the 79th Camerons of Canada with no battle honours emblazoned on it, these were the original colours of the 43rd Bn* 3: King’s Colour 79th Regt with metal plaque on staff 4: Regimental Colour 79th Cameron Highlanders with Battle Honours & metal plate on staff 5: King’s Colour 79th Regt Camerons of Canada - plaque hard to see but identifies this colour as the original King's Colour presented by Mrs. D.C. Cameron to the Camerons on 09 Oct 1910. NOTE: CURRENTLY AWAY, undergoing repairs. For more info contact the Cameron Association. * Side note: On 3 October 1929 the Great War Battle Honours of the Regiment were gazetted and arrangements to emblazon them on the Regimental Colour were made.
